Hey guys, we don’t spend a lot of time in Indiana but out of necessity we find ourselves with three maidens in today at Horseshoe Indianapolis!
Race 3: Meant to be Lucky
I have been waiting to run him two turns and I am excited that that day is upon us. He has always struck me as a route horse but I always find that they need a bit more of a base than just starting going a route of ground. First time out he encountered some trouble in the lane and last time it was quite a big at KYD. I think we will see our best effort today from Lucky!
Race 5: Standup Comedienne
She came into us late in the summer with the goal of having her ready for FG. We are happy to get her a start before shipping south. She is scary quick in the mornings when working from the pole so hopefully she can do that speed today and break sharp and keep going.
Race 7: Graphene Cassock:
I feel like he has really started to turn the corner since being gelded after his debut. We have battled with him a lot this year and he has really started to focus more on the job at hand, he even outworked Meant to be Lucky last week at Keeneland on the dirt. Looking forward for a step forward today but he still may be punching above his class level today.
