Setna the Wise cuts back to a more suitable distance while I am starting to think he may be more of a miler this was the race we had in front of us. That said, he ran very well on the distance at the Spa so I am confident he c an get the distance. Admittedly, I was disappointed at Ky Downs where I was expecting a bigger effort. He tugged James all the way down the hill and flattened out when he got pinballed around at about the 3/16th pole. I do think he would have fought on had he not gotten banged around but he just threw in the towel as he was already tired at that point. He has come out of that race pretty sharp and he cruised through his final work at CDT with a strong gallop out last week. Overall, I think he is one of the best horses in our barn and I expect him to continue to move forward. For what it is worth, we WILL run if it comes off the turf as they are getting some rain tonight. I have not had it in me to enter him on the dirt but I do think he will be just fine over the dirt as he has always trained strongly on it so I will let Mother Nature make that decision for me.
Hopeful for a Barkley double in races 4 and 5!

Good luck tomorrow, Jason. Do you videotape all of your works on all of your horses, and do you do it yourself?
